Archive/Restore by Path in Squirrel

2 min read

Overview

The Archive/Restore by Path feature in Squirrel allows administrators to target specific folders within SharePoint sites for archiving or restoration. Instead of acting at the entire site level, this feature provides granular control over what gets archived or restored — ideal for department-specific data or selective clean-up.

  • If no results appear, double-check the path spelling and confirm that files actually exist in that location.
  • You can only archive or restore items that the system detects as eligible — already-archived files will not be re-archived.
