The [[https://www.smikar.com/squirrel/|Squirrel]] platform includes a powerful **Reporting** feature that provides real-time visibility into archive and restore activity across your SharePoint environment. These reports help administrators monitor usage, track historical trends, and support compliance and storage planning.

You can generate reports on-demand and export them as CSV files for further analysis in Excel or other reporting tools.

==== 📁 Accessing Reports ====

These reports track the number of files archived or restored during specific time frames:

- **Files Archived Today** – Total files archived in the past 24 hours  
- **Files Archived This Month** – Total files archived in the past 30 days  
- **Files Archived This Year** – Total files archived since the beginning of the year  
- **Files Restored Today** – Total files restored in the past 24 hours  
- **Files Restored This Month** – Total files restored in the past 30 days  
- **Files Restored This Year** – Total files restored since the beginning of the year

**💾 Storage Reports**

These reports track storage usage (in GB) related to archiving and restoring:

- **Data Archived Today (GB)**  
- **Data Archived This Month (GB)**  
- **Data Archived This Year (GB)**  
- **Data Restored Today (GB)**  
- **Data Restored This Month (GB)**  
- **Data Restored This Year (GB)**

**🏷️ Site-Specific Reports**

Track storage usage by individual SharePoint site:

- **Data Archived by Site** – Shows storage archived per site across 1, 3, 6, and 12-month intervals  
- **Data Restored by Site** – Shows storage restored per site across the same time ranges
